On October 28th at 6:30 pm, Wine Alliance Board Members Treasurer Mike Stubbs and Preston Todd will be teaching an introductory course on financing vineyards and the ins and outs of getting vineyards in the ground.
Mike is the Head of Accounting for Suveg Cellars and has multiple decades of experience as a corporate CFO. His knowledge of winery finance is wide-ranging, playing an integral role in the success of Suveg Cellars. Preston Todd is the Head of Viticulture for the Yucaipa Valley Wine Alliance, & Owner of North Cork Winery. Preston has installed more vineyards than anyone in the Yucaipa Valley.
For anyone looking to invest in the Yucaipa Valley Wine Industry, and get grapes in the ground by next spring, we cannot emphasize the value of this class enough.
In this class you will:
Learn costs associated with vineyards
Take steps to take to get ready for planting
Learn about all materials necessary to get started
Assess pros and cons of hiring a crew vs. doing the work manually
Tickets for Wine Alliance Membership will be $25. Industry Members may, of course, attend classes for free. Make sure to check your emails!
